Selba S.A., a Swiss public limited company with its registered office at Route des Fayards 243, 1290 Versoix (hereinafter "Selba" or "we"), is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers, suppliers, partners, and any other individuals whose personal data it processes.

This policy is established in accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (revised FADP, in effect since September 1, 2023) as well as with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to the extent that our activities involve individuals residing in the European Union.

As part of our precision photolithography and glass machining operations, we collect only the data that is strictly necessary, including:

• Identification data: last name, first name, job title, company represented.
• Contact data: mailing address, email address, phone number.
• Contractual and commercial data: orders, quotes, technical specifications, correspondence, purchase history.
• Financial data: bank details, payment terms, billing information.
• Browsing data: IP address, technical cookies when visiting our website www.selba.ch.

We do not collect sensitive data as defined by the LPD (health data, political opinions, religious beliefs, etc.).

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

• Contract performance: processing orders, preparing quotes and invoices, delivering products, managing customer and supplier relationships.
• Compliance with legal obligations: accounting, retention of commercial records in accordance with Swiss law (CO Art. 958f).
• Legitimate interest: improving our products and services, marketing to existing customers, IT security.
• Consent: sending marketing communications to new prospects, use of non-essential cookies on our website.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected:

• Customer and contractual data: 10 years after the end of the business relationship (standard statute of limitations under the Swiss Code of Obligations).
• Accounting and tax data: 10 years in accordance with Swiss legal obligations.
• Marketing data: 3 years from the last contact, or until consent is withdrawn.
• Browsing data and cookies: up to 13 months.

Your personal data is processed by our authorized staff and is disclosed to third parties only in the following cases:

• Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data in the cases provided for by law.
• Right to restriction of processing: request the temporary suspension of the processing of your data.
• Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

• Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
