Selba S.A., a Swiss corporation (société anonyme) with its registered office at Route des Fayards 243, 1290 Versoix (hereinafter 'Selba' or 'we'), is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients, suppliers, partners, and any individual whose personal data it processes.
This policy is established in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, in force since 1 September 2023), as well as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to the extent that our activities involve individuals residing in the European Union.

Data Collected
In the context of our high-precision photolithography and glass machining activities, we collect only the data strictly necessary for our operations, including:
- Identification data: first name, last name, job title, represented company.
- Contact data: postal address, email address, telephone number.
- Contractual and commercial data: orders, quotes, technical specifications, correspondence, purchase history.
- Financial data: bank details, payment terms, invoicing information.

We do not collect sensitive data within the meaning of the revFADP (health data, political opinions, religious beliefs, etc.).
Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Contract performance: processing orders, issuing quotes and invoices, delivering products, managing client and supplier relationships.
- Compliance with legal obligations: accounting, retention of commercial documents in accordance with Swiss law (CO Art. 958f).
- Legitimate interest: improving our products and services, commercial prospecting with existing clients, IT security.
- Consent: sending marketing communications to new prospects, use of non-essential cookies on our website.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected:
- Client and contractual data: 10 years after the end of the commercial relationship (standard limitation period under Swiss CO).
- Accounting and tax data: 10 years in accordance with Swiss legal obligations.
- Prospecting data: 3 years from the last contact, or until consent is withdrawn.
- Browsing data and cookies: maximum 13 months.
Recipients of Data
Your personal data is processed by authorised personnel and is only disclosed to third parties in the following cases:
- Technical and IT service providers acting as data processors (web hosting, management software), bound by contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Logistics partners and carriers, strictly to the extent necessary for the delivery of your orders.
- Public authorities, in the event of a legal or regulatory obligation.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

- Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
